Safety Notice – Installation on Moving Body Parts (Doors):
The magnetic mounting is designed to provide a secure hold while the vehicle is in motion. When mounted on moving body parts (e.g., rear, sliding, or swing doors), rapid or forceful closing can cause sudden load spikes and resonance vibrations, which may result in a temporary loss of holding force. These short-term impact loads generally do not occur in this form, even during rough off-road driving. As a result, the mount (especially when equipped with wedges) may come loose in some cases.
Recommendation: Remove the wedges before closing the door. Alternatively, adding one additional bracket per wedge (for a total of 2 brackets per wedge) can increase stability.
Legal Notice
According to §22 of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), the Campnetic mount is considered cargo on the vehicle. The vehicle owner and driver are responsible for securing and using it safely. We assume no liability for improper use.
